Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality
Uses Cameras that Comply with EPA Regulations
Since 1973, the Wyoming Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), Wyoming state’s regulatory agency, has been protecting, conserving and enhancing Wyoming’s land, air and water for the benefit of current and future generations.*¹
In order to ensure that Wyoming government, business and industrial operators are in compliance with the Wyoming Air Quality Standards and Regulations (WAQSR), the Air Quality Division conducts inspections and uses regulatory inspection checklists.*²
We decided to buy Konica Minolta OGI cameras because of the features they provide including quantification, user-friendliness, multiple image processing formats, and service and support from Konica Minolta’s staff.
We will be using the cameras to meet new EPA regulations regarding Methane OOOO(b)/(c) rules and regulations. Additionally, because the cameras connect to any style of tablet or cell phone, they will aid in training new employees hired within DEQ’s compliance program as well.
