Accessibility Policy
Konica Minolta's website incorporates the concept of universal design and strives to provide a website that can be easily and comfortably accessed by as many users as possible. In recent years, with the spread of smartphones and tablets, accessibility has become even more important, not only because of the age and disability of users, but also because of the diversity of devices and environments from which users access websites.
Konica Minolta's corporate vision is to be "a company that is supported and needed by global society by realizing what customers requires" and "an innovative company that continues to evolve and contribute to the sustainable growth of people and society, with a firm establishment". Therefore, we believe it is essential to ensure accessibility of our website as well as our products.
In order to ensure, maintain, and improve accessibility, Konica Minolta's website complies with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (W3C) published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). The website is compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) in order to ensure, maintain, and improve accessibility.
Targeted Conformance Levels and Future Policy
Our goal will be WCAG 2.1 Level AA compliance.
*For more information about the WCAG 2.1 Level AA standard, please visit the official W3C website.
Future Policy
WCAG 2.1, which Konica Minolta adopted as a standard, is used as a web accessibility standard in overseas countries. In Japan, JIS X 8341-3:2016 has been published as a JIS standard that encompasses WCAG and adopts the same achievement criteria.
