Illuminance Spectrophotometer CL-500A Firmware Update

Installing the software

• This firmware update software is only for updating the firmware of the Illuminance Spectrophotometer CL-500A.
• If you are using the CL-500A together with Data Management Software CL-S10w or Software Development Kit CL-SDK, be sure to also update the respective software to the latest version. Click on the link below to go to the respective software update page:

Installation procedure

1. Save the download file (cl500a_updatev121_eng.zip) to a folder on your computer.
2. Extract the files in the .zip file to a folder on your computer.
3. In the folder containing the extracted files, open the CL-500A Firmware Update Software Instruction Manual (the file named CL-500A FirmwareUpdateSoftwareInstructionManual.pdf) and follow the instructions for updating the firmware. Double-clicking the file named CL-500AUpdateV121.exe in the same folder will start the firmware update software. If a confirmation message is displayed, click [OK] or [Continue].
4. When the firmware update has been completed, the downloaded file and extracted files (instruction manual and firmware update software) can be deleted.
