Opening of Manten NAGOYA

■KONICA MINOLTA PLANETARIUM MANTEN NAGOYA Opening on October 27, 2021

On October 27, 2021, “Konica Minolta Planetarium Manten Nagoya“opened at AEON MALL Nagoya Noritake Garden in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.
The “Konica Minolta Planetarium Manten Nagoya” is equipped with DYNAVISION-LED, which was released by our firm in July 2019. The dome screen itself is a light source, which is different from the conventional projector projection systems. We have started operation using this LED dome screen.

■What is the LED planetarium DYNAVISION-LED?

DYNAVISION-LED is the first LED dome system in Japan to be installed in Manten-NAGOYA. This system has achieved a much higher brightness and a wider color gamut than conventional projection systems. This system's greatest features, such as high brightness and wide color range, can be combined with our latest digital planetarium solution, Media Globe Σ SE, to create an amazingly realistic and photorealistic experience of the starry sky and the universe.
With the combination of DYNAVISION-LED and Media Globe Σ SE, it is now possible to reproduce the beauty of the vivid blue sky and ocean, the red brightening of the gorgeous sunset, and the twinkling shiny stars. The depth of the image increases the sense of immersiveness and makes it more realistic than ever before. The same system is scheduled to be installed in Konica Minolta Planetaria YOKOHAMA in March 2022.
