A customer who is considering purchase of SpectraMagic NX can download a trial edition of the newest version for free of charge. Please note that there is time limit in the trial edition. The valid time limit is confirmed with a message box displayed with every operation, such as measurement. Before using the trial edition, please confirm installation procedure and the differences.

Ver. 1.90 Upgrade version

The CA-SDK is compatible only with 32-bit mode applications. When creating applications using the CA-SDK, be sure to set 32-bit mode.

When CA-SDK ver. 3.11 or lower is used on Windows XP with Service Pack 2 (SP2) installed, an error will occur if the AutoConnect function is used. This error will occur either when CA-SDK ver. 3.11 or lower is installed on Windows XP with SP2 already installed, or when CA-SDK ver. 3.11 is installed on Windows XP, and SP2 is installed later.

Although this error can be overcome by performing AutoConnect again, since this error has been fixed in CA-SDK ver. 3.12 and later it is recommended that the latest version of CA-SDK be downloaded and installed.

Important:

When upgrading to ver. 4.10 from ver. 3.11 or lower, it is recommended that the USB driver also be upgraded to the version included with ver. 4.10. When CA-SDK is installed, the USB driver file will also be copied to the CA-SDK installation folder. For information on installing the USB driver, click on the link below.

(For ver. 3.12 and later, if the USB driver was installed with the CA-SDK, it is not necessary to update the driver.)
