Notice on Covid-19 new case in Japan

Tokyo (July 9, 2020) At a Konica Minolta Group company in Japan, an employee tested positive for Covid-19. The test result was confirmed on July 8. In accordance with the local health office’s instructions, the said employee is admitted in hospital for observation.

The local health office also identified a close contact in the company. The said close contact is going through the process under the instruction of the health office. The facility where the employee works has disinfected necessary places. The company confirmed the patient had no contact with customers, business partners or suppliers.

Going forward, Konica Minolta will continue doing everything it can for prevention of the domestic infection spreading and assure health safety within and out of the company.
