Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) announced that the AccurioLabel 400, a high-speed digital label press, and the Planetarium Interior of KONICA MINOLTA PLANETARIA YOKOHAMA, won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2023, which is internationally renowned design awards sponsored by organizations based in Germany.
Each year, the world’s oldest independent design organization, Hannover-based iF International Forum Design GmbH, organizes the iF DESIGN AWARD. The competition was intense: about 11,000 entries were submitted from 56 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.

AccurioLabel 400, a High-Speed Digital Label Press
The AccurioLabel 400 provides plateless offset-quality digital printing perfect for high-mix low-volume batches. the Planetarium Interior of KONICA MINOLTA PLANETARIA YOKOHAMA
PLANETARIA YOKOHAMA is new type of planetarium which provides relaxed healing entertainment experience for adults. Conventional planetariums are mostly for children and families, but this PLANETARIA YOKOHAMA is designed to experience urban oasis for adults and couples to enjoy and relax. To enhance dome experience holistically, we focused on visualization of natural phenomena such as light and wind by adding lighting, sound, and scent effects. Lighting scene setting is also important element, and we designed to express transition of seasons and time with natural and emotional light settings to express nature on earth resonating five senses.
