Konica Minolta Registered for Japan’s Whistleblowing Compliance Management System Certification

Tokyo (September 19, 2019) - Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) was registered as one of the registered businesses for declaration of conformity for the whistleblowing compliance management system certification (declaration of conformity registration system) under the jurisdiction of Japanese Consumer Affairs Agency on August 9, 2019.
The whistleblowing compliance management system certification (declaration of conformity registration system) was introduced in 2019 to promote appropriate development and management of the whistleblowing system. Respective Japanese businesses evaluate their own whistleblowing systems and apply to a designated registration agency. If they are judged to conform to the certification standard,*1 they are registered as declaration of conformity registration businesses by the agency and authorized to use the WCMS*2 mark.
