Konica Minolta to Transfer its U.S. Sales Company’s
ERP Solutions Division

June 25, 2024

Tokyo (June 25, 2024) – Konica Minolta, Inc. (Konica Minolta) announced that, in the DW-DX business within Digital Workplace, Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A., Inc. (Konica Minolta U.S.A.) has signed an agreement to transfer its ERP* Solutions Division to Avaniko Technologies, Inc. (Avaniko). The impact of the transfer on Konica Minolta’s consolidated financial results for the year ending March 31, 2025 is negligible.

1. Reasons for the transfer

After Konica Minolta Business Solutions U.S.A. acquired MWA Intelligence, Inc. in 2018, it has developed ERP solutions on its SAP Business One platform and provided installation to an integrated management environment, including office equipment integration, and maintenance services.
In Konica Minolta's Medium-term Business Plan, DW-DX is positioned as a direction-changing business. As the Company has considered to narrow down the scope of the business, the decision was made on the divestiture of the ERP Solutions Division to Avaniko. Konica Minolta will improve the profitability of the DW-DX business through the transfer. Further, the ERP solutions services will be able to leverage even greater strengths by joining Avaniko that owns advanced technological SAP capabilities.
