Delivering state-of-the-art performance in the smallest possible package
This is the A4 color multifunction printer in the i series, which was created by completely redesigning Konica Minolta’s bizhub brand of multifunction printers. The printer uses the same 10.1-inch control panel as the most recent A3 model, despite having one of the smallest installation footprints in its class so that it integrate easily into customers’ workstyles. We designed every aspect of the product so that it could provide the same user experience as the A3 model in the smallest possible package.
A minimalist design that eschews waste
In order to deliver a pioneering, future-oriented user experience, we went back to square one for both the hardware and software and built the product’s functionality and architecture. By shedding wasteful controls and parts, we were able to deliver a smooth user experience that avoids confusion along with a clean, minimal design.
