The product’s coloring has a clear rhythm, and I find the company’s willingness to embrace the challenge of bringing an element of design to office spaces, which tend to be monotonous in appearance, praiseworthy. The LCD display, which is the key to the interface, offers precise guidance, including in the form of supplementary information such as thumbnails. Designers have given careful thought to maintenance issues like replacing toner and replenishing paper and worked to resolve them through design at a similarly high level.

The product features a minimally small installation footprint and gentle styling that keeps the top structure from feeling oppressive. I was impressed by the overall balance, including status indicators that are easy to understand despite the product’s extensive functionality, its simple ease of use, a reasonable price that was achieved by sharing 90% of its parts with existing products so as to lower costs, the shape and quality of the area around the control panel and new parts like the sorter, and a color scheme that evokes cleanliness.
