Norihisa Takayama joined Minolta Camera Co., Ltd. (which later became Minolta Co., Ltd.) in 1991 and engaged in the development of solutions for MFPs for 21 years. Subsequently, he was responsible for developing business strategies and new businesses from 2012. He was appointed Corporate Vice President in 2019 and was posted to Europe to lead the DX business in Europe from an early stage. He also worked on introducing the imaging IoT solution business to Europe.
After returning to Japan in April 2024, Takayama was appointed Senior Vice President & Executive Officer Responsible for Business Technologies Business with the entire sector under his leadership. He has been actively promoting DX in the Office and Professional Print Businesses by harnessing his deep knowledge of the solution business and ability to formulate sophisticated strategies based on a thorough understanding of the market environment.
