Konica Minolta Unveils New Model of Inkjet Textile Printer Jointly Developed with Digital Graphics Incorporation at ITMA 2011
Tokyo (September 20, 2011) - Konica Minolta IJ Technologies, Inc. (Konica Minolta), a leading manufacturer of industry-use inkjet printheads, is pleased to announce that the company is unveiling the Nassenger PRO 60, a new inkjet textile printer, jointly-developed with Digital Graphics Incorporation (DGI) at ITMA 2011, the world's largest textile machinery exhibition to be held in Barcelona, Spain, from September 22 to 29, 2011.
Konica Minolta has signed a co-development agreement with DGI for popular models of inkjet textile printer. The Nassenger PRO 60 is the first model which is jointly-developed with DGI.
DGI, with headquarters in GYEONGGI-DO, Korea, is one of the major printer manufacturers of sign and graphic equipment worldwide and has high manufacturing technology and product development capability.
Konica Minolta, one of the leading suppliers of industrial inkjet textile printing products, has the total solution technology for printheads, inks and print systems which is highly acclaimed and recognized throughout the world with commercially-supplied products under Nassenger brand.
Through this co-development, Konica Minolta aims to further enhance the competitiveness with popular models of inkjet textile printer using DGI's manufacturing and development techniques. Konica Minolta provides the principal technologies of the Nassenger system to DGI and will build up its product line to offer total solutions to help customers manage and implement the entire production process from short-run production to full-scale production.
