Konica Minolta Announces Appointment of the President of Konica Minolta Japan, Inc.

Tokyo (February 18, 2016) - Konica Minolta, Inc. today announced the appointment of Jun Haraguchi as the president of Konica Minolta Japan, Inc., a new domestic company of the Konica Minolta Group. Haraguchi will take office as president on April 1, 2016.

Konica Minolta Japan, Inc. will be established on April 1, 2016 with the aim of capturing the top position in the following businesses by offering value added solutions to customers to help them transform their digital workflow, thereby creating value and growth for customers.

  • Handling the entire process of digital marketing solutions, from planning marketing strategies in order to acquire customers, collecting and analyzing data, to implementing and evaluating strategies based on the analysis
  • Providing digital manufacturing services utilizing data collected by measuring instruments to help customers automate and integrate color and visual inspections for improved productivity, and to help improve the workflow at production bases
  • Supplying solutions to hospitals, clinics and nursing care facilities to improve the workflow in home medical care and nursing care
